It's the most magical time of the year and you won't want to miss spending part of the holiday season at Naper Settlement. During Christmas Memories, the historic homes are beautifully decorated in seasonal splendor. Take a ride on the horse-drawn wagon and see the soft glow of lanterns throughout the village and candles illuminating the windows. Costumed villagers welcome you to each home that takes you back to a simpler era when family and friends gathered together to celebrate this special time of year. Among the special guests you can talk to are Father Christmas, Mr. Scrooge, Mrs. Claus and one of Santa's elves. In Century Memorial Chapel, local entertainers take to the stage to provide a magnificent array of holiday music for your enjoyment.
Be sure to see the Gingerbread House competition, where sweet treats are custom decorated, then set into a winter wonderland village in one of our historic buildings. To enter the competition, please click here for more information.
