Our 13-acre village comes to life during the summer season. Enter the buildings and meet costumed interpreters who will share the experiences of daily life, work and celebration in a 19th century midwestern town. Stroll the grounds and feel free to talk with the young people involved in 19th century children's activities. Interactive guest programs, special events and tours abound - check our Calendar for more details.

Winter Season - November through March
During Winter Season, though the village building interiors are closed to the public, your admission includes a self-guided audio tour of the village grounds and Visitor Center, where you will find a changing exhibit hall and our award winning "Brushstrokes of the Past...Naperville's Story" interactive exhibit.

Group Visits
Groups of 20 or more individuals planning to visit Naper Settlement should contact the Education Department for group rate information. Call well in advance, as some programs fill up quickly. Before calling, have the number of adults and children attending, the date you'd like to visit, plus alternate dates. Although the Museum is closed year-round on Mondays, our business offices and Museum Store are open, excepting Federal holidays.

No smoking, photography, or pets (except service animals) are permitted in the Museum buildings. Pets are not allowed on the village grounds (except service animals).
The Museum is closed New Year's Day,
Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
